With its ever-changing “menu” of plays, Too Much Light… is an attempt to perform 30 plays in 60 minutes—an original concept by Greg Allen and written by the New York Neo-Futurists.
“BEST THEATER OF 2015: BROADWAY AND BEYOND. This long-running Off-Off-Broadway gig proved itself equal to anything the big boys offer. TMLMTBGB is a collection of 30 two-minute plays that are written fresh every week and performed by the Neo-Futurists in their East Village hidey-hole. I had never seen it, and caught their appropriately titled “Best of 2015″ performance. Two highlights: a bit with a cupcake and a power drill, which made me laugh harder in 30 seconds than the entirety of School Of Rock; and a solo piece about HIV-positive lovers finding comfort in their shared illness, which had me crying faster than Cynthia Erivo.” – Forbes Magazine
