You can't April-fool us, March!
Thursday, March 29, 2007

April Fool's Eve approacheth, and we are not fooled by your 70-degree weather yesterday, Mr or Ms Spring! We left our homes today in jackets and wool caps and hoodies and even some SCARVES and GLOVES! [ audible gasp ]

No, sir or ma'am. You don't fool us one bit. It's still cool out.

On the flip side, the Kraine is warm and full of truth (and by truth, we mean "plays" (and by plays, we mean "30 of them, in 60 minutes)). We had 7 (seven) new plays this week:

  • 'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try (Eevin Hartsough)
  • Why everyone sitting here tonight should rush home and write a letter to Charles Schumer at 757 3rd Ave, Suite 17-02 NYC 10017 about their overwhelming support of Bill S-3893 to fix antiquated tax code that blocks thousands of performing artists from deducting costly business-related expenses. (Erica Livingston)
  • Morning Ritual (Joe Basile)
  • Stairway to Manhood (Ryan Good)
  • Knives in a Play (Claudia Alick)
  • Unleash The Bucket Insurgency (Rob Neill)
  • Sadie Hawkins (Eevin Hartsough)

And did you know that Eevin plays the ukelele? Well, she does. She even recorded THIS SONG for us late last night to help us learn one of the plays. (Did you know some of our plays are musicals? Oh. You did. Well, now you double-know it. Tell it to the judge, buddy.)
